FROM THE (M62) Junction 20 East & Westbound
Leave the motorway at junction 20 following signs for Rochdale Town Centre A627(M) travel for 1 mile. Bear left following signs for the A664 Rochdale. At the junction you will turn right onto the A58 “Manchester Road” heading towards Rochdale Town Centre. Travel on this road for ½ mile, passing Texaco on the right and Highfield Private Hospital on the left. At the traffic lights signposted “Huddersfield, Milnrow and Train station” turn right onto A640 “Drake Street”. Carry on for ¼ mile and turn left onto Church Stile immediately before the second pedestrian crossing, and the chemist on the left. On Church Stile you will see a short row of white cottages on the right, we are the end one which is number 34. Should you need to seek further help, the Parish Church, which is St. Chad’s, sits at the bottom of Church Stile and is a well known land mark.
FROM NEWHEY/MILNROW M62 Junction 21 East and Westbound
Travel towards Rochdale / town centre using the A640 following it all the way to the end. You will eventually approach the junction of Milnrow Road/Oldham Road. At the lights you should go straight on and you will immediately come to a junction which has a small triangular car park in the centre of the road and MFI on the left. Turn left alongside the MFI and at the end turn left onto “Drake Street” A640. You will only travel about 250 metres when you arrive at a Pedestrian Crossing. Turn right immediately after the crossing onto “Church Stile”. You will see a short row of white cottages on the right and we are the end one which is number 34. Should you need to seek further help, the Parish Church, which is St. Chad’s, sits at the bottom of Church Stile and is a well known land mark.
FROM OLDHAM/ROYTON/CHADDERTON
This is a straight road from Oldham. Take the A671 from Oldham towards Rochdale, “Rochdale Road”, Rochdale road eventually becomes A671 “Oldham Road”, you should stay on this road travelling straight on at the Kingsway/ Queensway roundabout still on the A671 towards the town centre, as you pass under the railway bridge you will pass through a set of traffic lights situated alongside a new Matalan Store. Carry on for a few hundred yards further and you will come to a junction which has a small triangular car park in the centre of the road and MFI on the left. Turn left alongside the MFI and at the end turn left onto “Drake Street” A640. You will only travel about 250 metres when you arrive at a Pedestrian Crossing. FROM THE TOWN CENTRE (For people travelling from Littleborough/Whitworth)
From the Town Centre take the Oldham direction along Drake Street. Do not go straight on towards Oldham, follow the road round to the right passing MFI and Halfords on your left. You will only travel about 200 metres when you arrive at a Pedestrian Crossing next to the chemist on the right. Turn right immediately after the crossing onto “Church Stile”. You will see a short row of white cottages on the right and we are the end one which is number 34. FROM ASDA (For people travelling from Norden/Bamford area).
With Asda on your left hand side, turn right at the Traffic Lights on to “Manchester Road” and move into the left hand lane to turn left at the first set of Traffic Lights. This will take you onto to “Drake Street”. Carry on for ¼ mile and turn left onto Church Stile immediately before the second pedestrian crossing, and the chemist on the left.
